Brief History

Mission

The CJEP offers services to improve quality of life through accompaniement on the path to employment, return to school, youth entrepreneurship or the acquisition of financial skills. Our programs are consistently tailored to the diverse needs of our clients, in order to facilitate their social intergration.

Employment Assistance Services (Service d’aide à l’emploi or SAE)

The grant agreement with Emploi-Québec allows the CJEP to offer services that meet the needs of different types of clients.

The two main client groups, 35 and under and 36 and over, can benefit from three services:

  1. Specific short-term support for individuals who are ready to work and who possess the skills and training related to the job they are looking for, but who need specialized help in writing their resumes.
  2. Guidance for individuals in a training measure or wage subsidy as part of a pathway established by the Campbell's Bay Local Employment Center.
  3. A specialized service to provide tools and support for individuals who have significant difficulties in finding and integrating a job. A fourth service is offered to individuals aged 36 and over who require: 4. Support with job search strategies for participants who are ready to work in the near future.

A fourth service is offered to individuals aged 36 and over who require:

  1. Support with job search strategies for participants who are ready to work in the near future.

Service spécialisé jeunes (SSJ)

Linked to the SAE, SSJ is for young adults between the ages of 18 and 29, who require support in determining a professional objective that will allow them to achieve their project of intergrating a job or going back to school. The activities involved in thi pathway are for a duration of 26 weeks, 15 hours a week and are adapted to the characteristics and living conditions of youth that promote their social integration.
